Samantha's 3!!!

We had a good old fashioned Ice Cream Sundae Bar for Samantha's Birthday this year!!! Of course this was after a good old fashioned BBQ with hamburgers and hot dogs first......can't have dessert until we eat our lunch :)
There was EVERYTHING you could ever want to put on your ice cream and a whole lot more....Ice Cream Cones, Sundaes and Root Beer Floats!!!!!!

Her very own ice cream creation complete with Gummy Bears!!!

....and there can't be a party for this little girl without an enormous pile of presents. Her day was topped off by getting her very own slide from the Coburn family!!!

I still can't believe that my little girl is 3!!! The time is flying by and I know this is wishful thinking but if it could just slow down a little bit so I could take more time to enjoy my wildly funny and wickedly smart girl!!!

Disneyland FUN!!!

This last week we got to visit with the Shearer Family at Disneyland!!! Now we always have so much fun at Disneyland and I still LOVE that we are all still experiencing new things every time we go!!! This time Samantha got to steer the Autopia car all by herself....now I don't know if I would call is steering as much as I would call it Mommy getting thrashed around as she tried to hold on to the wheel!!! She even stated as we were going around the track 'Mom, this car is driving me crazy!' My thoughts exactly!!! I still love her but next time it is Daddy's turn.

We all got a special treat of getting to eat dinner at Goofy's Kitchen inside the Disneyland Hotel and let me tell you that we have never had so much fun while eating!!! The food is really yummy, there are characters EVERYWHERE and the kids get to dance with their favorite characters every 20 minutes or so!! Samantha got to use her new autograph book for the first time and had so much fun that she didn't want to leave....

...we will have to visit again someday :)

the 'Rabbit'

This year Easter was filled with a lot of fun and a visit from one very special 'Rabbit' (this is what Samantha kept calling the Easter Bunny)
We had an Easter Party at school with all her friends!! Samantha helped me fill lots of plastic eggs with candy and color eggs for the 'Rabbit' to hide for her!! She was very into the fact that the 'Rabbit' was going to come get all these eggs from me and then hide them around the back yard...I don't think she really truly believed me until Easter when there were eggs all over the house and not one, but two Easter baskets FULL of goodies!!!

It really pains me to say that there is not one picture of any of these Easter celebrations....such a bad Mommy!!! There is a video that Daddy took of her finding all of the things that the 'Rabbit' left for her and one day when I figure out how to post a video on here I will share it. Until then.....I hope that everyone has a very blessed Easter!!!
